Not sure why all the hate for this book.

A good story that’s obviously based on recent events and news stories. I don’t think the story is as biased towards one political side or politician as some think. I’m Australian and so may be more removed from these events as Americans. They’ve just taken stories from the headlines and expanded n them - like some episodes of Law & Order.
I also have no great issue with the narrator. Overall I’m looking forward to the following books and some big battle scenes.

I don’t know if people who gave this a lower score were used to American rather then British SciFi? To me it was ok but VERY British. I’m looking for sequels
