I was listening along and thoroughly enjoying the story when out of the blue the main character says lines from the song Cecilia... then goes on to say she usually falls back on old Beatles songs when nervous, I'm paraphrasing there, but just for the record Cecilia is a Simon and Garfunkel song.....I mentioned this to my daughter who is reading the printed version and her book shows it correctly... this makes me wonder why it would be different in the audio version... it's a curiosity. I'm in love with the story though. it is also so cool to hear all the places that are around me mentioned in the book... we've been to grandma's kitchen, keep trying to go to Hungry Bear but we always hit it on a closed day.... we take the turn off by lake george to get home many times after shopping in woodland park. Thank you Tarah for writing such a wonderful story and helping it feel personal.

I truly enjoyed this book and I especially enjoyed the authors notes at the end. Not many authors do this. I feel it helps build an intimacy with the story. Thank you!

reader needs more practice

I am pushing through this because I need something to get through my long rides every day. Story line is not bad but the reader? The tempo is always off with her inflections. unfortunately her voice is very like Rudolph. Which is trully hard to forget and unpleasant when it comes to supposed sex scenes. yuck! I am very sorry. I just wish I could keep the story going without this reader.

Before reading/listening to this book I loved his comedy central show, but now I have a whole new respect for this human. His mama did a great job bringing this young man into this world and I for one am grateful to her. Thank you for sharing a piece of your story.

To be fair I did not listen to the entire book. I couldn't get through the first 6 chapters. I myself keep my firearm close, and believe no one should be lackadaisical about the world around them. This book makes it sound like peppers are always the crazy ones who shoot first not caring about the question. I will leave that to all the militia types. This book seems to be right up their alley.

this has changed my life

I have read/listened to this audio book twice through and will no doubt do so a few more times. There is a good deal of information that, while presented very well, needs repetition for me to absorb. Once I made up my mind to begin this, I realized how hard it was to go back to thoughtless eating. Every time I would eat so called normal food and my asthma would kick in, my stomach was sour, my skin would break out, my joints were painful. Sugar was the toughest. I still have moments but I muster through. This is for my well being. I'm the only one who truly cares about it. I'm the only one who can make the choice to take care of myself. Thank you for this way of life.

I to am frustrated and scared for our future should the creationism movement become more prevalent. Colorado narrowly escaped one of our school districts turning our science departments into a non science departments. It is unfortunate that the people who need to read this are the people who will most likely never read this. If they ever did, their minds would be so closed off from possibility that they would only shake their heads and say is God's will. Much of my parents remaining family tend to gravitate towards this way of thinking so they never need to be responsible for their place in this universe. God takes care of them so they don't have to. sad
