Historia
The era of the coronavirus has tested America, and our leaders and institutions have conspicuously failed. That failure shouldn’t be surprising: Beneath social-media frenzy and reality-television politics, our era’s deep truths are elite incompetence, cultural exhaustion, and the flight from reality into fantasy. The Decadent Society explains what happens when a powerful society ceases advancing - how the combination of wealth and technological proficiency with economic stagnation, political stalemate, and demographic decline creates a unique civilizational crisis.

The ramblings of a white christian paranoid male.
Revisado: 03-09-23
Apparently the solution to all of our problems is Christianity. Preferably we can force these white feminists to produce more white Christian babies trough control of contraception and limits on abortion, but if that doesn't work we should go to Africa and convert those colored folks that breed like rabbits to Christianity. Interesting concept!
Incredibly racist, sexist and paranoid author with clear religious and right wing agenda that is pushed as the only solution to the survival of the western civilization. If you are an extreme right wing nutcase this is the book for you. If you are not save your money.

Historia
From a New York Times investigative reporter, this “authoritative and devastating account of the impacts of social media” (New York Times Book Review) tracks the high-stakes inside story of how Big Tech’s breakneck race to drive engagement—and profits—at all costs fractured the world, and is “an essential book for our times” (Ezra Klein).

A must read for everyone!!!
Revisado: 09-15-22
It's a book that has been long overdue. It explains how a handful of geeks, mostly white males, screwed the world over for profit. The big technology companies should be restrained as soon as possible, before they do irreparable damage to humanity. My kids should not be slaves to Google, Facebook, Twitter, Tik Tok and the rest of the unscrupulous tech giants.

A MUST READ FOR EVERY AMERICAN
Revisado: 06-02-16
A sobering picture of the so called American democracy. We can delude our self's all we want, but we do not live in a democracy. Everything is for sale to the highest biter and '' Fuck the poor '' is our national philosophy. I hope that people will read this book and be at least informed, about what's going on in America today.

Historia
Dr. Glover believes there are men who suffer what he calls the "Nice Guy Syndrome". These men listen, offer advice, and jump at the chance to help. But no matter how hard they try to please others, their own lives are incomplete. Here Dr. Glover offers guidance on how to take back control. He suggests ways to achieve fulfillment in emotional, physical, and professional relationships. By redefining his priorities, any man can create the life he always wanted.

DO NOT WAIST YOUR CREDITS
Revisado: 03-29-16
Would you try another book from Robert A. Glover and/or Robert O'Keefe?
Hell NO.
What was most disappointing about Robert A. Glover’s story?
It sounds like he has more problems than the people who look up to him for help. Confusion about who is and is not a nice guy and nearly useless advice. None of the underlying causes of the "Nice guy syndrome" in this book are based on any meaningful research, instead the "facts" are based on his own opinions. There is a problem with men that are too nice and as a consequence not attractive to women, but the answers to that problem are not in this book. The solution "Blame it on women, join a religious organization or a therapy (12 step) group" are only going to get you more screwed up than you were before. DON'T WAIST YOUR TIME OR MONEY. THE BOOK IS ABSOLUTE NONSENSE
Would you be willing to try another one of Robert O'Keefe’s performances?
No. Absolutely horrible narration. Monotone inarticulate just pure boredom.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Bored out of my mind.
Any additional comments?
I hope I can have my credit back. :(

Historia
Since Darwin's day, we've been told that sexual monogamy comes naturally to our species. Mainstream science - as well as religious and cultural institutions - has maintained that men and women evolved in families in which a man's possessions and protection were exchanged for a woman's fertility and fidelity. But this narrative is collapsing....

Must read

If every one had read this book the world would be a better place. Very insightful and well researched. I would be buying the hard copy too just to have it as a reference. Narration is pleasant and easy to listen to so I gulped it down in one sitting. Well worth the money.

All the stuff your parents never told you about.
Revisado: 09-07-13
What did you love best about Hot Sex: How to Do It?
It's a helpful read about things most people feel uncomfortable talking. It's presented in a way that is easy to understand and fun to read.
What does Fiona Mcleod bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Her accent is somewhat sexy witch suites the material in the book.
Any additional comments?
It's a good overall book that everybody should read. I bought the hard copy and gave it as present to my wife, and demanded she reads it from cover to cover. I think it would be helpful for both of us, to get more informed on the subject. I personally don't agree with everything in the book, but it's still a pretty good information to have. In conjunction with other literature on sexuality and relationships, it's a valuable book in the arsenal, of well educated and sexually informed people. Because of the wide range of topics covered in the book, I think it's a must for parents with teenagers to reed it. First themselves and then have their teens reed it too (or parts of it depending on where the parents stand on the subject of sex). It has a ton of information, that many parents just don't know themselves or are reluctant(uncomfortable) to talk about, with their kids. I find it worth the credit and whole lot more.
Hope you find this review helpful. Happy reading.
