My friends are obsessed with this book, and the audio is seriously incredible. I can see why the author has stated that Wolfgang Milligan will be the male VA for all 8 books in the series. He has the perfect Duskwalker baritone!

Great performance and a great start to the series!

Terrifying psychological horror that kept me guessing the whole time. The voice performance is great too, made me immediately buy the other audiobook from this duo (Blender Babies)!

I was recommended this as "Extreme Horror" and there are definitely elements of that, but it's a few graphic scenes in a heartbreaking, decades-long story of CPTSD and the inability to move on from grief. Not what I was looking for, but it's beautifully written with an amazing voice performer.

I was shocked to hear at the end that this was his first novella! So well written, so disturbing and terrifying. Sure the ending was predictable, but still so heartwrenching and certain descriptors made me feel like I need a shower.

Jon Athan is a name I hear a lot in Extreme Horror recommendations, to the point that I assumed his work was more "mainstream horror" and never gave him a chance. But he's highly recommended for a reason! I can't wait to read/listen to more of his work!

One of my favorites from Mr. Beauregard. It falls into the same tropes as a lot of his works, but they're tropes that are prevalent in the genre so I can't fault him too hard (ex: misogyny and bisexual fetishist antagonists). If you like his other works, this is another great read/listen.

I was intrigued for an episode or two, but it gets disappointing quick. The host loves the sound of his own voice, most of the podcast is like his audio diary with 10min of "erotica," which is often just him masturbating very loudly. There are much better erotic voice actors out there, and you don't have to hear their smug, self-absorbed rants!

A couple stories were hot, but ruined by the performance. Teenage girl's idea of a sexy Dom voice. Two of the stories were read in a Jack Sparrow impression lol.

Relatable, vulnerable self-reflection into a history of anxiety and depression. I've never read Matt Haig's novels but this nonfiction book was exactly what I was looking for; a discussion on what I'm going through and how to start improving without being too much of a "self-help book."

If you're a millennial who grew up watching Nickelodeon, if you were raised by an overbearing narcissist parent, if you've struggled with eating disorders, this is a MUST-LISTEN! I was drawn in by "that girl from iCarly" on the cover; this is the memoir of a woman my own age, who I watched on TV as I struggled through my own teenage hardships. Heartbreaking and uplifting, with an entertaining tone that keeps things from getting "too heavy" for the most part.
