Historia
A family of four murdered in their hotel room. A single mother and her boyfriend both stabbed to death. A sordid history of violent crimes, repeated over and over - but decades apart. Olivia Barker is a therapist with no connection to the murders. But she has heard things. Stories that keep her up at night. Details that only a killer would know. A killer who could be one of her patients…Olivia has no proof for her suspicions. But as the body count rises, so do her fears. A rock is thrown through her window, her car tires are slashed, a chilling message is scrawled on her bathroom mirror.

Liked the concept, but…..
Revisado: 04-03-24
The story was good and I enjoyed the characters until the last two chapters were the author basically made Olivia an ignorant, bumbling incompetent buffoon. This poor character couldn’t even add 2+2 and get four. Her life is in danger and she turns into the stupid female in a horror movie. Why???? Not sure I’ll go buy another book from this author if this is how he views women.

What a waste of time
Revisado: 08-04-23
I thought this would be a good story but damn every single person is stupid. They know about zombies but still act like they have no clue what to do or how to kill them. Every time they turn a corner, step over a curb or walk anywhere they stumble and fall. Some characters have morals and some are pathetically, whiny and stupid that they deserve to be eaten. I can’t even finish the series because of the ignorance of the characters and let’s talk about the only gay character in the story that the author makes into a wimpy, pathetic individual with no backbone or can’t think for himself. The one character calls constantly calls him a faggot, pussy, wimp and he excepts it. No freaking balls to stand up for himself.
I really really hate this book. It’s a waste of time unless you like stupid, useless, ignorant characters that have no clue to the real world, and all they do is whine and cry and play pity party with them selves.
I did not mind the narrator as he did the best he could with this awful story. I like a good suspense, but every single character is a complete moron in every action they take.
The characters know about zombies but none of them have a freaking clue to use a sharp instrument to stop them so they all fight over one gun, and none of them can shoot that one gun. It’s more of a comedy than anything else due to the ignorance of these characters.

What a major let down.
Revisado: 07-23-23
Don’t bother to buy this book. The story was intriguing but the author never finished a single story line. It just ends with nothing more then the dad going to sleep. Really!!! That’s how you end a story. I won’t buy another book from this author. Waste of my time and money.

Stupid and whiny characters
Revisado: 07-10-23
The main character is so freaking stupid, all she does is put herself and the group into danger because as she says over and over and over and over again “I’m a doctor” like people care when they are stealing your crap. Let’s stop at that place with all those people with guns because “I’m a doctor” and I have to check on them. Wtf. It’s the end of the world. So freaking stupid. I can’t even finish this book. Not worth the credit.

Waste of a good story
Revisado: 03-09-23
The main character is a stupid female. She makes dumb decisions knowing she shouldn’t but does it anyway then wonders why the outcome happens. Would somebody please write a story that the lead female actually has common sense and intelligence. Won’t buy the next book.

Good story but stupid main character
Revisado: 02-14-23
Please help me understand why somebody cannot write a good book with a strong, leading female character. The main character in this book is just plain stupid. She’s attacked in her home, and everybody tells her don’t do anything alone, and yet she goes off on her own again acting like nothing just happened. What a freaking idiot. Why does every female character in books have to be stupid, ignorant, whiny or dependent on a man to make her happy.

What an awful main character
Revisado: 01-17-23
The main character is one of the most pathetic, whining character I’ve ever read about. It’s too hard to get into the book because all she does is whine about why she has blonde hair and blue eyes and her sister has black hair, her sister is prettier and smarter and more athletic than she is. Why does my life suck so much. She is the most irritating character I’ve ever read. I could not even get past the second chapter because of this character.

liked the series but can't stand the ignorance
Revisado: 12-31-21
The series is great but how many times can an FBI agent be stupid and still have her life and job, Blake is so freaking stupid and ignorant in every book. she runs off and gets kidnaped, shot, stabbed, beat up and ends up in the hospital or getting medical care. The author wants you to believe she is a top FBI agent but misses clues and gets herself into situations that make no sense.
I like a strong female lead and think this series would have been better if she more made better choices. It's amazing how she takes all the accolades for catching the killers when she has a team helping her. I guess that's a typical boss.
I will finish the series but I sure hope she gets more brains, unfortunately I doubt it.
