This book was a great switch up from my usual dark romance books. I really like the build up of the story. It hooked me in from the beginning. Minimal spice scenes but oo so detailed lol. I’m already off to read the second one.

I wish there was more information in the title details about this story. I’ve only read the first 2 1/2 chapters and can already tell this one is not for me. The obsession with the biker and the political husband that’s against gay rights but has many men partners. I really just couldn’t connect with the story.

Super repetitive DNF

I was intrigued the beginning, but it became super repetitive and the email character was annoying. I rolled my eyes several times, listening to how naïve and dumb she was. Stop listening after Lizzie story did not hear an Aurora’s as it seemed very similar to Lizzie’s. Was not a fan of Richard the MMC either. The narration was good. Story was just ok.

Great Character Building

Overall great story. I was screaming at both main characters in my head majority of the book, like say what you mean and mean what you say. Not much spice just a love story that began when they were kids. I will say it was a bit long and drawn out for me, but I finished it.

Omg! Literally in tears

This book is not for the faint of heart. So many emotions. Normally, I clean and listen to my books but toward the end of this one, I had to sit down and truly listen because I was in shock and sad. Truly wish there was an epilogue. Take your BP pills

I love Pepper Winters but ...

I love Pepper Winters. I have purchased all of her audiobooks. This one is just very repetitive and seems like she was trying to just add words to fill up the pages. After 15 hours there is still no resolve and I’m still trying to figure out what he is hiding. Olin was ANNOYING and immature. You just can’t be that oblivious. It made it very unrealistic to me. The audio was great no complaints there. I probably will get book 2 just because I love Pepper but the story was just ok.

Ending was the best part

I probably will skip book 2. The story line is ok. The female narrator was a little annoying. Her accents and male voices sound nasally and she just reads weird. I can’t explain it. Aiden Snow was the reason I kept listening.

I really had high hopes for this book but it’s so boring. I’ve listened to the first 5 chapters and I just can’t continue. The narrators were fine but the way it was written, it’s a no.

The female narrative is horrible

I couldn’t get past the first chapter. The voice of the female narrator should have been in the sample. I would have never purchased. I’m not sure about the overall book since I couldn’t get into the story. Returned
