The Interlopers is making me question which Matt Helm novel is my favorite. I enjoyed every second of this one. Perfectly directed and narrated.

Great story. Narrated brilliantly. I look forward to hearing more conversations between Matt Helm and Mac. I didn't discover these titles until I was the same age as Matt... I mean Eric. I don't believe I've ever finished a 007 movie, but I could listen to these amazing books with ease and content. Matt Helm rolls with the punches and takes plenty of them too. He feels, very much, like a regular person doing what he can with what he's got. We should all aspire to do the same, in any line of work.

I have truly enjoyed listening to all of the books in this series. The Ambushers had a different feel than the previous books. The story unfolded quickly and without disappointment. Brilliantly narrated.

F.U. Bowden F.U. nothing matters after all that.

We only get one life Mr. Bowden. Those men worked like slaves. These are your friends we are talking about! would you save them from a sinking ship? are you too bitter due to the fact you are too old? Please sir, let these men who are not getting any younger bring the Galion to us.

Banister needs to be seen by all. Imagine if he found out his life's work, the lives of his crew and the fleece were to sit in a laboratory. Show it to the world in a way where everyone can live Banisters story, your story, Chatter ton & Matters Story. You only have one chance left, Banister would tell you Lawyers/Solicitors are the worst kind even the long dead Governors of Jamaica would agree and 3 old partners and friends could go down in history untainted and with one more story.....possibly the biggest of them all.

Some clarification needed

liked the story but I am left wondering what was fact and what was fiction. The places are real as is church policy but what about the many references to events.....I wish the author would have left a detailed prologue or pos script descerning
what else were true.

like a soap opera

I love to learn facts while being in twined in a story. I tend to remember them more that way and I thank Mr. Rollins for the facts. the story which is not bad is drawn out to a bloody pulp. then toward the end as if swallowed on of Kara's amphetamine's the book jumps from scene to scene like a soap opera in fast forward. no explanations just..."painter was." "While Safia held Indians hand." "All of a sudden there was a blasts!' " Painter is I a super tractor swirling to his." " they were all safe painter was glad." I hate wondering what happened. instead of taking 300 pages in the first part use them to explain what is going on....in detail...when it matters, whe there is action. A cheap cowardly way to solve writers block. Just skip it all together and pick up an hour or a day later that way you don't have to figure out how to write it! jackass

Learn Amazing Truth, Enveloped in a great story

If you liked Dan Brown, finding his work prior to that of Berry's you will love these books. It is a hard task to make learning so much, all the while engulfed in a book so entertaining you can never want it to end.
