Wish that I had faith

The storyline was kinda typical for this type of novel. I'm kinda stuck on character and find the LEAD character was developed to be the struggle between faith and doubt. The rest of the book(s) are basically the old testament on the space age. I did admire the depth of the author devotion to his beliefs. I'm at best an agnostic. I have increased the income of the author by purchasing this entire series. it was worth it from the point big view that I was educated and challenged as to my beliefs. Nothing changed but I enjoyed the travel.

So some felt that this was an attack on race, etc. I thought it to be a thoughtful exploration of an extrapolation current headlines. R.C. Bray brought the characters alive and make no mistake the characters were awesome. Well worth the read.

Not all that

I' m a fat guy. I'm a nerd. this story was not that good. it didn't advance the 4 horseman universe except to establish that Jim Cartwright has some growing up to do. I kept waiting for it to get better. especially when he was doing his research but it didn't. BTW the guy reading it didn't believe in it either. he was flat, uninspired and unmotivated to bring ALL the characters to life. Y'all gott do better. it's a greT franchise don't screw it up.

Not Good enough to be ignored

The title is a lot better than the book. it seems that a 12 year old boy got his hands on his father's shut magazine and tried to tell a story about it. The absolute best was the technology that was put forth. it was also the crutch that the author leaned on WAY too much. That and the gratuitous sex just got boring. The "reader" (I won't even consider calling him a voice actor) was as enthusiastic as a Thailand hooker and about as articulated. I strongly suggest that this one be passed over. I am gonna enter "bullet time" to get my money back.

The premise is not to my liking but the execution was great. Had it been advertised as a "zombie book" I'd not bought it. however, I did and I'm glad that I did!

horrible let down!

the 1st two episodes are available on audible but not the rest! Is audible too cheap to by the rights for the entire series or just evil? The story is good. R.C. Bray is as always perfect and the plot ending makes you want more. Yet there is no more available! Not on Audible!

I'm widowed a year and retired. my children are busy and living away. I totally identified with Don. I cried as he talked about his wife and her last days. That was me. The story was tight and fast paced. I was honestly sad when it was over .

Kinda messed up

it was pretty good until the boy got nabbed, then it became predictable. Richard Fox got lazy 8n his formation of the final engagement and ending moments of the brothers. Luke Daniels is a great reader and as always he did a good job.
