Loved Sage and Adrian, and the rest of the characters. Besides, the story has action, magic, vampires, shifters... and a fated attraction really explosive. Certainly a great start to a new series.
Also, the narrator did a great job of bringing it to life, and let me wishing the next book in the series was already out.

It's certainly a fantastic prequel to the series. Already loved Theoden from the series and loved knowing more about him and about how he came to be who he is. It's certainly one of my favorite series.
As to the narration, it felt great. It's an excellent work, it sounds really natural and expresive.

I loved the characters, the overall storyline and the vignettes. Besides, it doesn't hold back and as I'd expect from an apocalyptic world full of zombies, it's gritty and, at times, brutal. Certainly worth reading or, in this case, hearing, since the narration is quite good too.

Nathan wasn't sure why people were so obsessed with dating and sex. Sure it probably felt good, but he just couldn't figure out what all the fuss was about. It might have helped if he knew what he was looking for. But with so many labels and options, he just wasn't sure. It seemed so easy to everyone else, but to him, it felt like something was missing. Gabriel thought Nathan was absolutely perfect. Sweet, funny, sexy, and completely confused about what he desired; but absolutely perfect.

I like both MCs but Nathan with his lack of filter is just special. Besides, the story is beautiful, hot, sweet and funny. So, for me, it's a great book.
I had already read the book twice before hearing the audiobook and I think the narrator did a really good job with it. I truly enjoyed it.

I really love Cooper, Sawyer and Jackson. For all their differences, or just because of them, they just make a perfect threesome and fit perfectly. Besides, the story is sweet, fun and hot and Kenneth's performance just enhances it all. So, like the first book, wonderful.

It's a really sweet story. Cooper is truly adorable, Sawyer is really cute and Jackson is just perfect.
The narration is wonderful. I had already loved this book when I read it and I really loved the audiobook too. I'm sure I'll be hearing it again.
