Awesome book

My first by this author. It filled all the points I like. There was family, mystery, crime, trying to figure out who did what. A little romance. I’ll listen to more in the series

A great 2nd book

I don’t know why so many are complaining about the narrator. She was easy to get used to. I have a southern accent, I would sound different too.
I loved this 2nd book. One thing I began to think might happen did, but not how I thought.
I hope what I’m thinking might happen will in the next book.
I’m enjoying this series & can’t wait to get to the next one.
So much intrigue, twists & turns. Don’t miss this series!

Rachel Cane & Carrie Ryan

I loved the epilogue. I was crying as I thought this would be the end of the Stillhouse Lake. And I’m so very sad over the passing of Rachel Cane.
I’m so happy that Carrie Ryan will continue the series. This one was as good as Rachel Cane. And it ended with a great cliffhanger. I can’t wait for the next book. I think Rachel Cane would be happy with this book.
The only thing I would like in the next book is that the other narrators be brought back. Every now & then I got lost with who was speaking, even with the chapter titles. I think it’s because my ears are used to the others. But I stick by my 5 star rating. Good job Carrie Ryan!

Love this series

When I started Lost Contact I didn’t realize it was the first in a series. I thoroughly enjoyed it & was happy to see there were more books in the series. This is the 2nd book.
The series is well written, easy to fall into & just go. That’s what I was hoping for. Even as it’s gone deeper into the sci-fi realm I’ve been able to follow it.
There are some unexpected twists that I’ve enjoyed. A couple that made me gasp.
The narrator is fabulous. He switches characters easily & gives each one such a unique voice that I had to stop once to see who the “other” narrators were, surprised to find there was only one.
I’ll look for other books by this author when I finish this series, & hopefully find that Ray Porter as narrator.
If you like sci-fi & adventure, this is a perfect series.
