Historia
For decades we've been told that positive thinking is the key to a happy, rich life. "F*ck positivity," Mark Manson says. "Let's be honest, shit is f*cked, and we have to live with it." In his wildly popular Internet blog, Manson doesn't sugarcoat or equivocate. He tells it like it is - a dose of raw, refreshing, honest truth that is sorely lacking today. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck is his antidote to the coddling, let's-all-feel-good mind-set that has infected modern society and spoiled a generation, rewarding them with gold medals just for showing up.

Found it humorous and Wear Headphones in public
Revisado: 06-20-18
I found the begining very funny, but that's probably just the 12 year old in me. (Because the barrage of F bombs is hilarious)
I found this book to follow some of the stuff I've already ran into, during my time. People who want advice on what they should do, but won't cut ties or try to improve them. Instead I'm listening to a feedback loop from them.
The material seems sound, but I'm still giving it a few listens before I make any judgement.

Historia
Developing video games—hero's journey or fool's errand? The creative and technical logistics that go into building today's hottest games can be more harrowing and complex than the games themselves, often seeming like an endless maze or a bottomless abyss. In Blood, Sweat, and Pixels, Jason Schreier takes listeners on a fascinating odyssey behind the scenes of video game development, where the creator may be a team of 600 overworked underdogs or a solitary geek genius.

Makes me glad I have a completely different job
Revisado: 06-07-18
After listening to this book, I'm ever so happy that I avoided this line of work. Even though it was the drive to my whole life till I was 18. I'm glad for whatever changed my thoughts on going down this career field, because this book paints it as a nightmare to myself.
I did feel as if the book was a little short and not sampling a greater pool of game types.

Found my mind wandering and not listening.
Revisado: 06-01-18
I'm not sure if it was the author or the voice talent, but I could not hold my attention to this book.
I will avoid listening to it again.

The story teller imbued the voice of Carnegie
Revisado: 06-01-18
Andrew MacMillan came across as if Dale Carnegie was reading his own book to me, with a soft and firm voice that clearly stated all the information. Thankfully keeping my fingers at bay from having to rewind repeatedly to understand phrases. So far this is the best reading that I've listened to date.
The book itself is a great strategy guide for learning to work and live with others.

Tough to start
Revisado: 05-16-18
I'm not a big fan of history, but I stuck with it. It was an okay listen. The beginning felt like it was all over the place and wasn't what I was expecting, so I was struggling to keep interest.
Mid to late into the book, it was an easier listen, but I doubt I would ever relisten to it.

The bundled book is garbage
Revisado: 04-18-18
The accelerated learning was fine, but the Hygge book is a joke. Once you make it through the first one, I'd shut it off and file it away.
