Felt like a kid again

I grew up, studying the styles of Keno, Jeet Kune Do, and Kali/Silat. My dad was a nationally ranked full contact kickboxer, and I watched him over the years when multiple titles and tournaments. The attitudes and scenarios that are portrayed in this book I could relate to very well, as it felt like I was reliving them again. Great book with great insight. Maybe one day I can share stories in person!

Your book was nothing less than inspiring in my already in route vegetarian and superfood quest of a dietary venture. The irony of it lies in when I was listening to your ventures from Kawai to Oahu to Molekai to Maui to Hawaii I was in Maui. Staying in the Whaler at Black Rock. That day I had just drove down to a beach resort in Wailea after a five mile run down and back to the hotel on the beach on highway 30. We had just drove down past that airport and down 31 to Makena beach. we had even done the Haleokula climb earlier that week. How much I could relate to this story and how much so I wanted to go to Molekai and meet CJ and go to the bike shop although worried it wasn’t open as it was a tight window of eight hours a week. Haha. I love Maui and would live here in a heartbeat to follow these endeavors to the full. Looks like I am stuck doing this is Indianapolis until further notice. 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
