Intrigued at the beginning, bored at some parts. Best explanation of climate problem, and most concise and effective explanation of possible solutions. I love how mostly realistic Bill Gates is in explaining climate change - I appreciate how open and transparent he is. He gets at the center of it and doesn't try to scare. I don't think the climate disaster is a one time event like it sounds, rather a boxing match that lasts the entire time but ending in a KO unless the right innovative solutions are found.

Malcolm Gladwell is amazing at writing books. He is so insightful, entertaining, and brilliant with how he ties all his stories together. I learned a lot from this book, and I highly recommend it to friends, family, and...strangers :)

I don't know what to say besides things are complex and our war on drugs is ridiculous. it's frustrating that it is so hard in our country to try to fix bad laws already in place. Especially in the age of data when we have much better information. most of the book is full of accurate data and understanding but it also has an ideology that I don't think is realistic. show me a country with healthy race relations...I don't know know there is one, but that shouldn't keep us from continually arriving for the ideal world.

I don't know what to say, I don't know what to think, there's so much in the story that tears at your heart. War is a sad dark drain of innocent lives, of young men fighting only because of those at the top. Oftentimes I forgot it was World War II as I was just wanting the war to end and him to go home. A very sad book about how terrible war is, even if you return home, part of your life feels/is dead.
