Supernatural terror made real

I listen to my books while walking and driving. This one had me taking longer walks and sitting in the driveway when I got home. The family at the center of the story it’s experiencing unrelenting supernatural phenomenon that just doesn’t seem to stop and it has real consequences. It’s based on actual events and I am very grateful for the analysis at the end. It really helped me better understand how something like this could happen.. and, it’s a bit of a supernatural whodunnit.

A long walk to NOWHERE.

At the end, there is commentary from his wife that says it had another title. It would've been better if they led with that. I was looking for a summary read with a crazy volcano. But, the side stories and the characters were just not there.
