Best D/s romance I’ve read in a while from someone in the lifestyle

Yes there’s the typical romance aspect. Bigger than life, exaggerating belief bits.

But it also teaches what a real…not just Dom…but any partner should…to have confidence in yourself! To believe in yourself! To accept your value and self worth. Even when you might not be able to yet. And doing it FOR YOURSELF!

Long awaited

Had to wait way too long for another book in this series but omg it’s was sooo worth it!!! The first book is what introduced me to Alice Winters. Even though her books are similar in that there is typically a really quirky character And a more typical alpha one…the humor And shenanigans…the heart AND the love is just so worth reading them all that are like that!!!

I love Elle Thorpe. I love her including polyamory and guys who are bi. Etc.

I was ok with how she handled the main assault. I mean yeah she got over it fairly easily and fast. But hey it’s a book there’s only so long to deal with it I get it and I’m ok with it and she did ok.

What I am NOT ok with is her calling a gang r*pe party a primal party.

As someone in the bdsm lifestyle and someone who is only even a little into primal play I was highly offended and In shock.

That was not primal play. That was not even CNC. That was gang r*pe. Nothing else.

I still like the author, but I desperately hope she learns the difference and corrects her mistake cause that is glaringly harmful to the entire bdsm community at large. That is misinformation and nothing to do with the actual lifestyle or community. If she ever reads this AND wants to learn more, please reach out to me.

Entertaining

If you want a brainless escape go for it. Some outlandish ideas scientifically speaking AND plot wise but I could usually care less about such. But combined with feeling like one character was really getting the short end of the stick and it was An unbalanced immature young relationship that never was allowed to become healthy and mature…yeah I mean it’s good for entertainment but could be better.
