Gin takes all the fasting books & summarizes them

This is a great introduction into fasting for weight loss. I read the Obesity Code already, but it's very technical and long for most people. Gin's book is very relatable for a lot of people trying to lose weight. She is a woman who struggled with weight, working, and raising two kids. She has been on every crazy diet and had the classic yoyo of weight a lot of people can relate to. This makes the reader feel more of a kinship with Gin, than one might feel reading a book by a male doctor or health guru who has always been thin. I personally like the scientific books too, but I think a lot of people need a book like this as an intro. I don't understand why some people gave this book a bad review because Gin is not a medical doctor. She says that she is not over and over again in her book and encourages further reading and study from books that are written by doctors. If you are looking for a summary of the benefits of a one meal a day/ fasting lifestyle, this is a great intro. Long technical books are not for everyone and sometimes a funny friendly, diet survivor telling their story is exactly what we need.

Wonderful young adult book

I couldn't stop listening, this book has all the feels! 💕 Very well written, and sucks you right into Amelia's world both real and imagined. It was also very well read.

The most competitive puppy guide I've found

I've read several dog training books, but this one is the most straight forward and digestible. Everything she says makes total common sense and sounds very applicable for any dog owner. I'm so glad I read this before getting our new puppy. I think every dog owner should read this book!

best kid's book we've read in a long time!

At first the performer annoyed me. She was just "too much" she puts some strange inflections at the ends of sentences, but she grew on me. My kids really liked the book and the performer. They both listened intently and followed along well. They are aged six and eight.

The story itself is very charming, funny, clever and sweet. So, many kids books are violent and full of revenge. This book is a nice change of pace. It's a silly fantasy world that pokes fun at human nature and social statuses.

I highly recommend!
