Good, but not like her others

This is my 7th Denise Hunter book I have read. I was anxiously awaiting the release of Harvest Moon and had it in pre-order for months. This wasn't a bad book, it just didn't captivate and hold my attention like the others.
After two recent losses myself, I think this one took me by surprise and that may have swayed my opinion. Maybe it could use a warning about child loss as that topic is such a sensitive one and is covered a lot in this book.
I will definitely still continue to read Denise Hunter's books. She remains a favorite of mine!

If you are looking for a wholesome romance story, look no further! This book is the 2nd in a Trilogy and is absolutely wonderful. (The first book was as well) There is a great story line and romance that is very wholesome and clean.

Couldn't Stop Listening

Everything about this book captivated me from the first second I began listening. I laughed, cried and sometimes paused to contemplate what had just been said. Kelly Minter did an amazing job and piecing together the story and the Lord has surely used her through this book. I consider it a must read for Christians everywhere. But be warned: get ready to have your eyes opened and your toes stepped on...in the best way possible!

I write about love, but I've never experienced it. Sure, I've been with guys that I cared about. Even thought I found "the one". He turned out to be the frog and not the prince. A few Frank Sinatra songs and a wildly handsome cowboy who calls me darlin' will have me second guessing everything I ever thought I knew about love. Does happily ever after really exist...or is it only something I write about in books?

Let me say this first, the narrators are great. Just NOT for this story. These are supposed to be young and vibrant characters but the narration sounds like a 40yo woman and a 60yo man. Honestly the steamy scenes made me CRINGE because of how they are performed. Book: Great. Narration: Awkward.
