Historia
While preparing to deploy with the US Army, Marcus suffered a severe spinal injury that left him paralyzed. After dying on the operating table twice, the surgeons saved his life, but told him he'd never walk again. Having no other option, Marcus started doing some brutally honest soul-searching, looking for the lesson to be learned from his injury. Once he started seeing his adversity as a gift instead of a curse, something miraculous began to happen....

Best listen I've had in a very long time.

I've read this book and it was an eye opener for me on many levels. It made me want to get out and do the things I've always wanted to do yet never did due to the voices of everyone telling me how hard it would be. Once I saw this was out in audio, I could not wait to hear Marcus give his personal touch of reading what he wrote and I must say, it did not disappoint. Listening to the inflection of his voice on the parts of his hospital stay, and subsequent recovery, hit on deeper levels in me than I thought possible. The internal drive it must've taken... to hear the emotion in his voice about his struggles and how they can be applied to everyday life is invigorating to say the least. We've all known struggles, setbacks, and adversity of some sort, but if this man can do what he's done, what am I wait on? THIS IS A MUST LISTEN!
