Revisado: 04-18-22
There is a dangerous view express therein, that "I don't believe a loving God would send people to that awful place, the Hell" (approximate quote).
Yes, God is loving, but He is immensely Holy and Just. And He doesn't send us to Hell. We send ourselves by rejecting His love (He sent His only Son to die in our stead, so that we could enjoy eternity with Him).
The author frequently confuses religion (or religious views) with the Bible. One needs to understand precisely what religion is, as opposed to the Word of the living God, expressed in the Bible.
Apart from that, the book is interesting, if not entertaining.
I was amused by Ed Warren's chit-chat with the demons possessing individuals, as if he hadn't taken them seriously. This is in stark contrast with exorcism performed by Jesus; He forbade them to speak and cast them out. So, Ed Warren wouldn't describe himself as "religious", but would perform the work reserved to authentic believers. It doesn't make sense.
What it does make sense is his admonition to avoid anything that would allow the demons a foothold into your life. Anything. This advise alone makes the book worthy.

Are you an overcomer? Or, are you plagued by little sins that easily beset you? Even worse, are you failing in your Christian walk, but refuse to admit and address it? No Christian can afford to dismiss the call to be an overcomer. The earthly cost is minor; the eternal reward is beyond measure. Dwight L. Moody is a master at unearthing what ails us. He uses stories and humor to bring to light the essential principles of successful Christian living.

Notwithstanding the narrator's martial tone (yet very clear and articulated), the “program", as Audible calls each performance, should prompt each of us back to the Bible. Dr Chuck Missler did a fine job in exploring the theme, but it takes more than listening to the words to understand.

Repentance, as first breath of an immortal life
Revisado: 10-19-21
Dr. RC Sproul presents Psalm 51 as model of genuine repentance, but is quick to infer that it (the genuine repentance) is not achieved by mere recitation of said Psalm, but by the work of God in our hearts.
Those hearts, wicked beyond believe, are addressed by Jesus on the Sermon on the Mount. Those hearts mended by God through authentic faith in Him produce fruit worthy of repentance.
But everything starts with faith.

Historia
Jesus Christ is coming back. It is certainly a Christian's greatest hope during these difficult times. The Bible warns us that the last days will be tumultuous - wars and rumors of wars will spread (Matthew 24:6). In our age, the world seems to be spinning out of control, creating fear, confusion, and uncertainty. In addition to violence, pestilence, and epidemics, the Bible predicts a great "falling away" from God in the end times. Bible teachers call that "the great apostasy".

Historia
In August of 1914, the British ship Endurance set sail for the South Atlantic. In October 1915, still half a continent away from its intended base, the ship was trapped, then crushed in the ice. For five months, Sir Ernest Shackleton and his men, drifting on ice packs, were castaways in one of the most savage regions of the world. Lansing describes how the men survived a 1,000-mile voyage in an open boat across the stormiest ocean on the globe and an overland trek through forbidding glaciers and mountains.
