A perfect book- romance, excitement and good values

I love that it is not a steamy romance with a lot of sexual reveal. This is clean cut, amusing, and entertaining. I will be getting more of this series. Also, love that the author respects grammar rather than following the current vernacular of misusing correct grammar.

John Scalzi has a unique sense of rightness. His characters are my heroes and definitely help me to consider the right way to think.
And, his books are incredibly imaginative and at times, amusing!
I have to wonder if he is like his protagonists or working to that level of enlightenment. In any case, John Scalzi is really a cool writer!

Narration was sluggish and had to increase to 1.10 to sound normal.
Lots of F words, sex scenes, and too much introspection rather than actio.
Then, a cliff hanger rather than an ending.
Not worth the time I spent listening to the 1st 2 books. Waste of money.
Plus, the writer should learn grammar.

The last few Koontz books lack imagination and more killing and suffering. Not as excellent antworte as her once was; albeit beautifully expressive, delves into streams of consciousness thoughts far too often than is necessary. Boring and tedious.

I enjoy Mr Koontz‘s beautiful, descriptive writing. But his latest novels are exceptionally well written. There is a depth of spirituality that I see more in his latest works and love to see this new dimension to his writing.
This book was as usual, thrilling and a celebration of good rising above evil. Loves it!

Why does the author feel the need to turn the ending into a continuation of more aliens coming rather than them being vanquished.
Hard to distinguish between women and men’s voices since the narrative was performed by a man who didn’t change voices with each character.
Since this author enjoys gore and dark endings, will never purchase his books in the future.
