Historia
Who knew being strong meant going hungry...? After making it through the fiery Middle Stratum and evolving again, things have been a cakewalk for me-and also one of the worst times of my life. I've gotten so strong that every living thing is avoiding me like the plague. Even monsters that wouldn't leave me alone for a second are running away like their lives depend on it. I mean...all I want to do is eat them! Is that too much to ask for?! At this point, about the only thing that WON'T flee the moment it sees me is the earth dragon Araba, and I sure as hell can't have that for a meal.

Dear God the stat/skill readout sections are getting way way way too long, and we're only in book 3! I shouldn't have to constantly keep having to mash the skip forward 30s books to get past these segments, PLEASE Yen Audio, make future books abridged. I'm usually a big proponent of unabridged audiobooks but in this case, for those 5-10 minute long stat/skill appraisals, just abridge the hell out of them, please....

Fun book
Revisado: 07-15-21
I did really enjoy it and an looking forward to part 2. That said, there are some issues that need to be addressed, namely any time there's a sound effect or a creature noise or something like that... just describe it, don't sound it out. I'd MUCH rather hear the narrator just say "the monster let out a high pitched shriek" than hear the narrator go "Chreeeassiiikkk!!!" or hear him do the impression of a girl screaming or something. And the notification bing... just put in a sound effect of a ding lol don't have him actually yell out BING every time
Also, sometimes it's just overboard on the notifications. I don't need to hear the stats or skills listed out like three times in a row at some places
Anyway like I said I don't think the story was bad nor do I think the guy reading it is bad, but some things might need to be adjusted for audiobook direction is all.

Historia
In The Land: Predators, the Mist Village has harnessed its power. With core buildings, professional fighters, and now their own dungeon, the settlement is primed to grow into a kingdom of true power and magic. The path to power has not been without risk, however. The MistVillage has been noticed. Evil nobles from the Kingdom of Law, bloodthirsty goblins from the Serrated Mountains, an undead lord with a penchant for human sacrifice, and fanatical kobolds from the Depths all plot the village's destruction.

Too many prompts!
Revisado: 05-18-19
I really like this series, and in fact, I actually do like the reading of prompts... usually. But this book goes incredibly overboard on them, reading long lists of prompts that we've already heard before. This wouldn't be an issue in the written book, I imagine it's quite easily to just skim past a long list of prompts by eye, but in the audio book sometimes it goes on for like 20 minutes as he reads the prompts about literally every building in the village. As we've already become familiar with all these buildings throughout the last six books, that was entirely unnecessary. And that's not the only example, this happens multiple times in the book with other long lists of prompts with information we've already known for a long time.
If the author wants to have these long lists of prompts fine but I do think some sort of effort should be made to have the narrator read a muchly condensed version of what Richter is reading, at least for stuff we already know. I don't care if you have to call it abridged or what, but trying to slam the 30 second skip repeatedly while also trying not to miss little commentary that might randomly appear between prompts is a pretty bad experience.
And then he goes and starts to insert more prompts in the middle of battles now, which disrupts the tension. Again, I know this has all got to be way more tenable in the physical book, but considerations should be made for the audiobook script, I think.
