the most expansive Helldivers yet!

Full of twists and turns (and plenty of dead bodies.) This sixth entry takes our heroes to lands full of new deadly mutants and other more devious threats I never saw coming. if you've liked the ride so far this book is easily worth the credit.

I thought the first book was dark but holy cow this book takes it to a whole new level. great story and a worthy sequel for sure. I'm incredibly curious to see if there'll be a sequel to this one.

The best yet!

I really thought that the 1st book was gonna be the high point of the series but GODDAMN this one blows the first out of the water! its all here, monsters, suspense, a world so scarred it makes you thankful for the little things and some humans doing their very best to survive! I wish I could give more than 5 stars there were points where I was shouting in my car because the narration is so great!

Max Brooks did it again!

Much like WWZ this book takes place after the main events of the story. This is a great move because he allows us time to digest and analyze what's happened by having fictionalized experts explain their varied interpretations of the events that transpired. The way he writes is much needed in the modern world as his writing functions as an engaging story while at the same time a survival guide full of practical applications and examples.
