What made the experience of listening to My Own Mr. Darcy the most enjoyable?

I am a fiction book person, but being a "Pride and Prejudice' fan myself, this book particulary caught my eye. I had to read it! I must say neither the author nor the audio artist disappointed me! The story is woven so beautifully in words that every young girl in her early twenties/ who has been in love will be able to relate to it. All the emotions of Elizabeth are expressed so explicitly and aptly in the book by the author that you can't help but almost feel it yourself. I give much credit to the audio artist here as well who has emoted all the expressions so accurately and has modulated her voice so efficiently for the characters that inspite of only one artist reading the book, you can very well differentiate between all characters and almost draw their sketch mentally in your mind based on her voice.

What other book might you compare My Own Mr. Darcy to and why?

I wouldn't want to compare the book with any other book. It has a beauty of its own.

Have you listened to any of Heidi Baker’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Being an ardent fan of the classic Pride and Prejudice myself, thoroughly enjoyed listening to this book. The characters are so well written, the plot unfolds simply, yet so beautifully and the voice-over added the cherry on top! :)

Getting Rich is just a thot away!

Would you try another book from Wallace D. Wattles and/or Jim Roberts?

I would like to but would prefer someone else reading it with more emotion and feeling.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

The most interesting aspect is how with all conviction he wants you to believe in your thought of getting rich and not connect it to religion or believe that God has put you not so rich condition because he doesn't want you to go further.

What didn’t you like about Jim Roberts’s performance?

I found the voice to monotonous and lacking emotion. It was all being read at almost same pace. Hence, many a times my mind drifted away from what was being said.

Do you think The Science of Getting Rich needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

No. Starting itself is going to take a while. Once started implementing this book, everything will automatically fall in place without a sequel :)

If you could sum up The Power in three words, what would they be?

Inspiring, Logically reasoned and explained with all THE POWER!

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Power?

For me, the most memorable moments of The Power were when the author provides the whole reasoning behind why Love and only love is the moving force that attracts everything in your life!

Which scene was your favorite?

My personal favourite is the one where she explains how majority percent of our body is made up of water and how hat water responds to love!

Would you listen to The Secret again? Why?

Yes. The impact of the narration and hearing it from the author's mouth was a different experience all together. The conviction with which the author has read out, stressed and emphasized on the words that need to be provides powerrful retention of the content.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Secret?

Each and every page was a memorable moment for me, for the author, the narrators and the background music brought the whole scenario alive in front of me. The relevant background music inspired me thoroughly along with the narration.

Have you listened to any of Rhonda Byrne’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No, I haven't heard any other of her performances. But this book has surely got me hooked onto read the other books in sequel to the The Secret.
