I loved this.

Hamlet holds a special place in my goth little heart and I really think this is far and away my favorite adaptation Of any I’ve ever heard. Michael Sheen is a dream. He’s like, the perfect Hamlet. The whole cast, in fact, is just freakin splendid. I’ll be listening to this again and again.

For all practical purposes, Primrose is an orphan, and there's no great clamoring of prospective adopters. After realizing the impracticality of continuing to pay Miss Perfidy (a mothball-scented elderly lady) an hourly wage to baby-sit her, the town council places her with Uncle Jack.

If you're trying to decide if you should listen to this book- DO IT!!

One of my favorite authors of all time, this is Polly Horvath at her best. This story is both incredibly real and surreally enchanting. Her books are always fun, immersive, touching, and full of relatable characters. Everything On A Waffle is a masterpiece. As a child, I adored this audiobook and as an adult, I am struck by how vivid and gorgeous the story and characters are. Funny, feelsy, awesome awesome awesome.
