Interesting story.
Revisado: 04-24-25
The ending. There isn’t one. If it’s continued it could have been added to the first novel which was kinda short. Seems like a financial plot to get three books sold instead of two.

The promise of hope.
Revisado: 03-29-25
I thoroughly enjoyed this story! It was not only entertaining but filled with good information about paleontology and exciting prehistoric discoveries. It also gave compassionate insight into a family member’s depression and disability. Hope, patience and putting complete trust in God are woven throughout the story. Kim Vogel Sawyer is one of my auto-buy authors. She never disappoints! The three narrators also did an excellent job. This book is very well done.

Forgiveness and Grace no matter your past
Revisado: 04-22-24
I loved this book and the narrator. It was very well done. Learning about the Grace of God and learning that it’s okay to forgive yourself for your mistakes and accept yourself as a new creation in Christ.

Historia
Vienna Price never intended to return for more than a passing visit to Hope Harbor and all the bad memories she’d left behind. But when your career tanks, home is where you go to nurse your wounds and chart a new course. Only temporarily, of course—because as much as she loves her quirky mom, anything more than a short stay would drive them both crazy. A trip to Oregon isn’t in Matt Quinn’s plans either, until a perfectly timed appeal for help arrives from his sister.

Another wonderful visit to Hope Harbor
Revisado: 04-07-24
Hope Harbor is my favorite seaside town. Irene Hannon never disappoints with her quirky seagulls Floyd and Gladys as well as other returning and loved characters. Seaside Inn has fun subplots going with new people finding and loving the community. Another 5 stars in my book. Narrator Therese Plummer is always amazing as well. Highly recommend.

Loved this story.
Revisado: 03-17-24
I’ve never found an Irene Hannon book that I haven’t loved. Apprentice Father was no exception. It was amazing. A main character has an obvious physical handicap, a residual from an autoimmune disorder called Guillain-Barre’ Syndrome. Most people have never heard of it.
I am a GBS survivor myself having been quad paralyzed and on a vent in 2010. I had to learn to walk again. I have rarely seen fiction mention this disorder so was excited to see it described here and how it can affect and change a life.
It was heartwarming to see how this story developed. Very well done. I highly recommend this Encore production exceptionally narrated by Therese Plummer.

Historia
New York, 1898. The only thing more shocking than Arthur Stanhope III’s unexpected death is the revelation that his will bestows his company—and most of the vast fortune that goes with it—to the nearest male heir, leaving his mother, wife, and daughter nearly impoverished. His widow, Sylvia, quickly realizes she must set aside her grief to ensure their daughter, Adelaide, is launched into society as soon as the appropriate mourning period passes.

Very well done Civil War novel
Revisado: 01-16-24
I really enjoyed listening to this latest Civil War novel by Joselyn Green. She does her research well and brings it alive in the story so you really feel like you are experiencing it for yourself. Good characterization and the narrator was also very good with handling a number of accents. Well done. Highly recommend.

Absolutely loved it.
Revisado: 08-21-23
This was a very good story and the narration was also excellent. Only one small complaint and that is minor: the description of “his nostrils flared” was used so much, that I started a count of at least 8 times throughout the book! Wow. Lots of nasal issues!!!
