Not the best of Pelecanos.
Revisado: 08-26-23
Not up to Pelecanos standards. The setup for the final gunfight on the roof was amateurish.

Not the vanilla version from black and white TV

Purple prose is slightly off putting but the intricate plotting and legal shenanigans more than make up.

Quite a different take on origins of WW1. Should to the point and highly compelling.
