This was my first book by Lena Hendrix and will not be my last! Some of my favorite tropes ever are in this one. Forced proximity? Hate to love? Angst and tension to the max? Yes please! I love ex's brother romances and I loved how Beckett already knew Kate. This is also best friend's sister, which I love as well. Kate is living with her aunt and they need help renovating her place, so they hire Beckett to help with renovations. Beckett has received a lot of flack from his family for not having a corporate job like them, his family really looks down upon him. Kate is fiery and head strong, and she is definitely not the same girl Beckett knew when she was dating his brother. They are forced to be around each other while working on the house and they even have to take a road trip together. I really love how Kate started documenting all of their projects on social media, which was such a fun element added to the story. She finally is finding her passion, while falling for Beckett. This was just such a fun small town romance! I finished the audio book in a day because I was obsessed with this romance!

Hot Bull rider romance!

Elsie Silver writes THE hottest heroes ever!! Theo Silva is my new favorite hero from the Chestnut Springs Series. The attraction between these two characters is unmatched. Winter definitely puts up this tough girl exterior but inside she is a very sensitive person, and Theo really sees that in her. This is a secret baby romance. I have never really read it before, but I loved this book. Theo is such a swoony dad, I loved how he really took on the role, no questions asked. And he is so protective over Winter and his daughter. Ugh, I love all of the sweet, tender moments in this book. I also loved how determined Theo was to not let Winter push him away. There was so much character growth for both of them, which I loved to see. This also has a heavy family aspect and we got to see all of the characters from the past books. Reckless is definitely a new favorite of this series and I can't wait to read more from Elsie Silver!!

Single dad, nanny romace!

I loved this grumpy/sunshine, small-town romance! Caleb is the grumpiest of grumpy, and I loved seeing him slowly open up to Paisley. Caleb will do anything for his daughter, so he hires Paisley to help teach her how to ride a horse. Paisley ends up having to move onto Caleb's ranch to nanny Evelyn. And the relationship between Paisley and Evelyn was just adorable. I loved how insane the chemistry was between Caleb and Paisley, they couldn't keep their hands off each other. So much tension!!! I also LOVED the suspense in this. It was such a fun twist, and I can't wait to read more from A.L. Jackson!

Spicy friends to lovers, marriage of convenience!!

I really enjoyed this one! Such a fun friends-to-lovers, and fake marriage! Austin was definitely my favorite part of this book, he was just so sweet and would do anything for Rae. Austin and Rae had a drunken night in Vegas and got married. It ends up turning into a fake marriage to benefit both of them. I really loved how they had to act like they were madly in love, but accidentally fell for each other. I did get a little annoyed with Rae because she would constantly push Austin away. And I wanted her to grovel a little more at the end. But overall this was a fun romance and I can't wait to read more from Fiona Cole!

Student teacher romance!

When I read Little Lies I became obsessed with this world and these characters! I couldn't wait for the next installment of this series. I listened to both of these books on audio, and I highly recommend them! Maverick is spending the summer at his familial lake house and that's when he meets the heroine and they have a fling for the summer. When it comes time for the first day of his senior year he recognizes the heroine and realizes that she is his new professor. Over the course of the first semester, they start to run into each other more and more on campus, and they can't deny their attraction to each other anymore. I loved the chemistry and angst in this romance! It was so good. I also loved how protective Maverick got over the heroine once he found out that her ex was bothering her. This is also a reverse age gap! I also really enjoyed how they both had to work really hard for their relationship because it made their hea so much more satisfying! Such a good taboo, student-teacher romance! Definitely a new fav of the year!!

Arranged marriage to her sister's fiance!

I loved the angst in this book! This is my first book by Catharina Maura and it won't be my last! Raven and Ares had an arranged marriage, but then Ares fell in love with Raven's older sister Hannah. So now Ares and Hannah are engaged but Raven still years later is head over heels for Ares. But when they are about to get married Hannah never shows up for the wedding and Raven ends up having to marry Ares because of the arranged marriage between the two families. But how can they make their marriage work if Ares is still in love with her sister? I loved this angsty and messy romance! I also really liked how even though Ares was still hung up on Hannah he really gave his marriage with Raven a chance. And when they finally fell in love with each other?! It was pure magic, I loved their relationship. Such an amazing read that brought the spice, angst, and forbidden aspects that I love in romance!

Angsty second chance romance!!

A new favorite!! This book was so angsty and messy, which are two things I LOVE in my romance books! Lavender our heroine, was almost kidnapped as a girl and ever since then her family and friends have been traumatized by that incident. Especially her brother and the hero. Both Lavender and Kodiak have been best friends since they were little and grew up always looking out for one another. The only way to get through the trauma that they both experienced was to depend on each other for everything. So their parents separated them, for fear that it would lead to an unhealthy relationship in the future. Something happens when the hero and heroine are teenagers, and now Lavender hates Kodiak. But now they're both in college and are always around each other. And it's impossible to ignore their connection to each other and the hurt that they caused each other. Ugh, this book was so good. I loved how protective Kodiak was over Lavender and they're deep connection. I also really loved how Lavender made Kodiak grovel for her love and affection. The tension and angst in this book was next level! So so good and I can't wait to pick up the next book!!

Angsty, second chance, rockstar romance!

I think I found a new favorite of the year!! This is a second-chance romance between Nova and Parker. They started falling for each other when they were younger but they were step-siblings, and something happened to Nova that changed everything. Now Nova is a very successful Instagram blogger and Parker is a member of one of the most famous rock bands in the world. The two randomly meet each other again on Instagram Live and start to reconnect. And Nova ends up joining the band as a songwriter. When they were younger she would help the band write songs. Old feelings start resurfacing, which leads to lots of angst. I loved this romance! I also really appreciated the flashbacks from the past to the present. I liked how hesitant Nova was to get back into a relationship with Parker, and how he really had to grovel. I absolutely adored this romance, and I also loved the audio!!

A fun why choose, paranormal romance!

Such a great start to a new series! I first want to thank Forever and always pr and Tessa Hale for gifting me an audio arc for review. Leighton lost her father when she was younger and now she has to live with her very abusive mother. And when her childhood best friend comes back into town out of the blue, and propositions her to come with him, she can't say no. Colt takes her back to his home which he shares with his best friends. At first, Leighton is skeptical about the whole situation, where are Colt's parents? Why is he living with his friends? And why does she feel an attraction to all of them? But there are also some paranormal things that start coming into play with Leighton and the guys. This was such a fun why choose, paranormal romance! I am dying for the second book, and I cannot wait to read it! Definitely go check this out!!
