A modern story told through the eyes of a dog

A funny, happy, sad, irritable and to some extent predictable story. None the less it is a good listen, but have the tissues ready for the sad bits. This story will affect readers as many of us have been touched by separation, death, love and had, or know of a friend with a puppy and watched it mature into a dog. It ends on a happy note, so overall an excellent novel.

A brilliant read for those Merlin/Arthur die hards

A grest version of events, an enjoyable listen and a brilliant narrator who never forgot his characters voice.
An excellent comparison between the days of old and today. White also included modern authors into the story.
In my oppinion a good listen, loved it.

A long listen but I loved this story. Basically it is a story based on a sisters love for her brother and her journey to find him.
Anna adopts the name of Anastasie for the encounters of many characters and challeges that must be accomplished in order to gain trust from these not so trusting people. These all aid in assisting in Anna's search for her brother.

A little slow and frustrating throughout but I did enjoy the relationships between the boys, coach, Chaplin and women. Have not quite accepted if Chip if bisexual or gay. I suppose the latter is what the author is leading to.

I have all the Anna Travis books and have listened to four thus far. I have found each storyline has a similar climatic piece followed by a challenging ending and some lecturing.
The first three books were narrated by the same person, but this book was read by a different narrator and took a littlle time for me to accept the new voices of the old carracters.
Overall, a great storyline, capturing you, yet again with the entwined plots and confusion. James continue his endless infactuation and hold on Anna. The entwined relationships between the staff and their lives in the back ground is maintained, but the focus is always on the main characters and the perpetrators.
The ending is always the same, well in the first four books..... a little frustrating but a good read (sorry listen), none the less.
Hope you enjoy the Anna Travis series as much as I am.
