Historia
He's played a deranged groundskeeper, a bellowing lounge singer, a paranormal exterminator, and a grouchy weatherman. He is William James "Bill" Murray, America's greatest national treasure. From his childhood lugging golf bags at a country club to his first taste of success on Saturday Night Live, from his starring roles in Hollywood blockbusters to his reinvention as a hipster icon for the 21st century, The Big Bad Book of Bill Murray chronicles every aspect of his extraordinary life and career.

An A-Z with no narrative but still a Nice listen
Revisado: 06-12-22
Factoids and stories organized semi-randomly according to the alphabet. Surprised at how much I enjoyed it.
Only axe to grind is the narrator embarrassingly mangling every singe foreign name or term in an effort to… I don’t know what. If you don’t know how it’s pronounced in France or Sweden, just say it in your own accent already.
Apart from that good narration and relaxing listen for chores and the commute

Historia
Some agents have all the fun. Others save the world. Bob Howard is an IT expert and occasional field agent for The Laundry, the branch of Her Majesty's Secret Service that deals with occult threats. Dressed (grudgingly) in a tux and sent to the Caribbean, he must infiltrate a millionaire's yacht in order to prevent him violating a treaty that will start a war with an ancient underwater race.

Not a great second book - narrator tries too hard
Revisado: 03-26-22
I find this book hard to listen to. To make the reading dramatic, the narrator spends long stretches of the story sounding nervous and rattled. It’s not relaxing to listen to, and is more than a little overdone and annoying.
The story is OK, but not great. The innovations of the first book have somewhat worn off, and feel a bit trite. The pacing of the storytelling is not conducive for immersion or for sympathy with the characters, which feel a bit shallow, and much like the supporting cast of a dorm room table top roleplaying game.
I wouldn’t say “avoid at all costs” but this is not as good a listen, as I would like it to be.
