Historia
Seventeen-year-old Lenni Pettersson lives on the Terminal Ward at the Glasgow Princess Royal Hospital. Though the teenager has been told she’s dying, she still has plenty of living to do. Joining the hospital’s arts and crafts class, she meets the magnificent Margot, an 83-year-old, purple-pajama-wearing, fruitcake-eating rebel, who transforms Lenni in ways she never imagined. As their friendship blooms, a world of stories opens for these unlikely companions who, between them, have been alive for one hundred years.

Beautiful story of friendship
Revisado: 09-23-22
This was a beautiful story of a unique friendship between an 93 year old woman and a 17 year old girl. The characters brought humor to a sad situation. It is so well written and the audio narration was excellent. It really brought the characters to life. The story made me laugh and made me cry. I thoroughly enjoyed the book. The narration added so much. I highly recommend this novel.

Historia
Ronan Boyle may be the youngest and lowliest recruit to the secret Garda, but he’s determined to save his captain from the harpy that dragged her into Tir Na Nog at the end of book one. He may not be the strongest, or the smartest, or the best looking, or the most dexterous...so why was he picked for this mission? He’s not entirely sure. But he may be the captain’s only hope - if he can escape man-eating elves, escape a job in a unicorn’s lounge act, and find the captain before she’s sacrificed to a spooky cult trying to resurrect its leader.

Listened to this with my 3rd & 4th grade children. We loved the the story, very funny, good story, the main character is easy to like. I like the intertwining of the Irish folklore. I loved the audio recording, the accent and character voices were great, I also liked the music. At the end.
