if you're a true crime addict and history buff as I am it doesn't matter whether or not you believe in ghosts you will still enjoy this story. I love this author's take on any retelling of the past. she does an amazing job at researching every scrap of detail that is available to find and has a talent with words so you not only pass the time with interest but learn while doing so. if all of this interests you then tap that button and start listening!

I read the book once and now I've listened to it a second time. it's so good. Nina's books are always the best regardless of the topic. I really enjoyed the narrators for this story. I've never heard people do such a great job infusing emotion into the dialogue. it made it very believable and easier to feel whatever was happening at the moment. definitely worth a purchase!

The way an investigation lays out has always been interesting to me and this was lay down in a way that not only made sense but in my opinion kept the readers attention. I always thank God for every successful attempt to bring justice to those who are victimized be at the victim themselves but also everyone who knows and loves the victim as well as the ones who thought they knew the perpetrator. I can't imagine what it would take up a person on a personal level to commit to an investigation of this magnitude but it warms my heart to know that there are people all over the world still an existence who have a heart for their fellow man and woman and for right and wrong. if you haven't heard the story yet give it a chance. if you're addicted to true crime as I am this will meet your standard of effective storytelling.

the fact that this is a true story makes it sad but Queen and was an amazing writer and captured this story and a way that captivates the reader and or listener. Ms Caruso is the best narrator of anyone I've heard. highly recommend if you're into true crime!
