Another great story for Morin that is a bit of Alita mixed with Cinder but more palatable than Cinder to me. Mikael Naramore is spot on with his inflections and narrating style.

Amazing in every way!

Best Dwarfish series I have ever read and easily one if my favorite epic/dark fantasy ones. Prior really hooks you with the action and keeps you on the line with the deep and extremely well wrought characters. The narrator is perfect for this story and makes it even easier to follow our stunted friends on their perilous adventures.

Sublimely Dark and Epic

Kadrey is a true master at weaving a complicated web of story arcs and dropping the perfect amount of humor in at the exact right spot.
Mcleod Andrews is the only Narrator that could have pulled this series off and did so with moxy and gravitas which are two things that are hard to put together.
Sandman Slim will forever be one of my absolute favorite series'.
As Ballistic Kiss just got released shortly before this review, I am eagerly awaiting my next credit allocation to snatch it up and burn through like Stark would a Malediction!

An Engaging Tale That's Not To Be Missed!

From the very first chapter Jeffrey Kohanek had me hooked. The suspense and action from that opening scene spurred me to the next and the next. When the action lulled the characters were built up and you fell in love with them.

This is a fun, funny and hugely entertaing story with a band of marvelous people that I hope I get to see more of. The next books can't come fast enough for me.

The Narrator seemed meant for this story and really sets that hook I mentioned above in this awesome omnibus.

High Fantasy with no safety net, this is a raw and fantastic story that I could not put down!

Funny, Fun and Intriguing!

Not sure I've ever listened to a story that had such a great mix of entertaining story and over the top humor. I loved every second of it!
Kent Hill has done something pretty amazing, making me laugh until my jaw aches and keeping me interested in the characters and what's going on at the same time. It would be cool to know these characters more (my mental health is just fine, move along)
The Only down side to this story is that it ended. Like all good things, it was over too soon. I will be back to listen to this story again and Kent Hill has found a life long fan!
So refill your (insert favorite beverage) grab a lil' snack and dig into one of the most novel novellas in the history of ever.

Ridiculously Good!

I'm fairly certain this story was created with sorcery, because I couldn't stop listening! This is one seriously fast paced action fantasy. Fun Characters blended with great action scenes and a story line that keep you hooked work together to make a top notch book.
I loved this story from chapter one and am eager to continue the story with book two. The narrator did a great job and was great at differentiating between characters and made this listen very entertaining!

Crag A. Price Jr. has created a world that I will be visiting time and again!

One Hell of A Good Time!

Would you listen to The Vesik Series: Books 1-3 again? Why?

Absolutely, because this series has great action, plot lines and a perfect amount of humor to satisfy all needs in one series!

What did you like best about this story?

What did I like best? Well since telling you that would mean copying the entire box set and pasting it here, let's just say It's amazing so read on!

Have you listened to any of William Dufris’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No I haven't but you can bet your booties I will now!

This book was like just leaving the theater after watching a blockbuster buddy cop film or bad ass action flick. So much fun and such a well done story that I can't wait to see what happens next!

A TRUE MASTER OF HIS CRAFT!

This was a great listen, it has a bit of everything; from creepy, unsettling and downright strange to almost heartwarming in a twisted sort of way. I loved every second of it! Arthur Slade keeps me at full attention with this story and I love the familiar Narrators! It's a bit like Alfred Hitchcock but with a nice twist of of Slade Flair and what I've come most to look forward to in his stories...His sometimes subtle and other times not so subtle wit and well placed humor. This collection of stories will leave you feeling.....well, I guess you'll have to find out on your own. :-)
