Historia
He fought for Washington, served with Lincoln, witnessed Bunker Hill, and sounded the clarion against slavery on the eve of the Civil War. He negotiated an end to the War of 1812, engineered the annexation of Florida, and won the Supreme Court decision that freed the African captives of La Amistad. He served his nation as minister to six countries, secretary of state, senator, congressman, and president. John Quincy Adams was all of these things and more. In this masterful biography, award-winning author Harlow Giles Unger reveals Adams as a towering figure in the nation’s formative years.

Would you consider the audio edition of John Quincy Adams to be better than the print version?
I would say both forms of work are great! A book like John Quincy Adams turns the morning commute into a useful learning experience.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
The accomplishments of John Quincy Adams were amazing. I did make me sit back at the end and appreciate the things this one man did.
Any additional comments?
I would recommend this book to anyone that wanted to learn and understand more about one of the early American politicians and our history.

Another great Ben Kane series! The emotions of the previous two novels come to a perfect climax. Would recommend to anyone regardless of being into Roman History or not as the series had great characters and vivid battle scenes.

Great start to a good series!
Revisado: 05-02-17
Who was your favorite character and why?
Titus Pullus because he is a young Roman man that is fighting to make something of himself. Through the legions and army life he is going to make that happen.
What about Simon Burdett’s performance did you like?
Did a fine job of keeping excitement in the characters and I never felt like his performance deterred from my listening.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I could have listening in one sitting if I had that much time but this was a listen that I did finish rather fast!
