Historia
Every new version of Java is important, but Java 8 was a game changer. Java 8 in Action is a clearly written guide to the new features of Java 8. It begins with a practical introduction to lambdas, using real-world Java code. Next, it covers the new Streams API and shows how you can use it to make collection-based code radically easier to understand and maintain.

Buy the hard copy, not the audiobook

As with all programming books, when read aloud it can be a real challenge to follow along.

Learning how computers connect together is not necessarily intended only for professionals. This audiobook is not going to prepare you to receive any formal certification but by reading it you will no longer be considered as a training novice in this field and that is for sure. Networking for beginners is an easy and complete guide for those beginners willing to know the basics of networking with no high-level paradigms.

Not great, especially due to errors
Revisado: 12-30-21
The book overall is okay. It’s your run of the mill dry intro to networking guide. However, there are some clear issues.
First, the editing is terrible, there are cases of long pauses, repeating the same line of the book two or three times, and just overall the narration isn’t great. The narrator at times isn’t aware of the terminology.
Likewise, the book feels like a hodge-podge of networking information, with no clear story through networking fundamentals. There is a lot of skipping around and fluff that doesn’t provide the listener value.
Do yourself a favor, don’t buy this book. Buy something else instead.

It’s a good book, but audio doesn’t help things
Revisado: 06-02-21
It’s one of those books that you should read, not listen to. The images as well as the complex ideas need to be digested in written, not auditory, format.

Does God belong in the public arena, or is religion solely a private matter? Nancy Pearcey makes a passionate case that Christianity is not just religious truth, but truth about all reality. It is total truth.

A good book, but a lot of content
Revisado: 05-17-20
The book on Audible is well performed, placed in the backdrop of the Author’s story, and well thought ought. There is a lot of heavy content, but it is necessary and helps make a case for why Christian’s need to think through the implications of their faith in all aspects of their life.
