Excellent story telling from a real veteran of the streets. Most police stories are written by non-cops. L.A. Rex really gives the reader the gritty realistic side of Los Angeles. Keeps you glued to the audio book every second. Highly recommended!

What happened Anne Rice? If you enjoyed the Vampire Chronicles, you might want to pass on this audiobook. The Storyline is just so watered down. Anne Rice must have written this book in haste. Personally, I had to start and restart each chapter due to how the reader's voice made me so drowsy. You might want to check out the audio sample before you waste your audiobook credits on this. Or better yet, download Blood and Gold........that book is ten times better than this Drivel!

Great book. The reader used good tonality, making the story suspenseful. Perez-Reverte is one of the best writers........all of his books are amazing.
