Historia
In 2007, Chrissie Wellington shocked the triathlon world by winning the Ironman World Championships in Hawaii. As a newcomer to the sport and a complete unknown to the press, Chrissie's win shook up the sport. A LIFE WITHOUT LIMITS is the story of her rise to the top, a journey that has taken her around the world, from a childhood in England, to the mountains of Nepal, to the oceans of New Zealand, and the trails of Argentina, and first across the finish line.

Just get past the first few chapters
Revisado: 06-12-19
I almost returned this book. I found the first few chapters difficult to get through. Later on you learn they are necessary in laying the foundation of Chrissie Wellington. Wellington is synonymous with Ironman. If you know Ironman you know her name. What you don’t know is what it took to for her to be where she is. After the first few chapters, I could not stop! Great insight into the life of a champion. She leaves it all out on the table. She shared things most people wouldn’t make public. Thank you CW!

A good purchase.

I listen to a lot of sports psychology books during my commute. I am training for extreme distance triathlons. This book did heavily focus on golf. It did, however, touch on other sports. Either way, the concepts in this book will work for any sport, or any athlete. It was a great purchase and the narrator/author did an exceptional job narrating.

The other side of Chris McCormack
Revisado: 04-24-19
I've always liked Macca. I know he was portrayed as being rude and egotistical but in this book you see the why behind it. Macca spoke at my first half Ironman in New Orleans. It was then I knew he wasnt how he was portrayed. There are some training tips but this is definitely not that kind of book. This book is perfect for the Macca fan or for someone who wants to have a glimpse into the other side of professional triathletes. The narrator was pleasant and easy to understand. I have more respect now for Macca than I ever have after hearing his story. LOVE IT!
