Even better than I expected!

Clear since the first book Skyward was released I have been waiting on pins and needles for this book to come and to continue the story of Embot and Spensa. The way that Brandon Sanderson is not only captivating but it tugs on emotions and makes you feel as though you are part of the action. When I listen to these books I see myself in the caves, star fighters, alien planets, and the delver maze. I don’t know how else to say that this is a amazing, breath taking, action filled story and I can’t wait to experience what comes next!

Originally I bought this book for my niece and nephew at Costco because it looked pretty cool and I want them to be interested in what they are reading but then I was interested in reading it and I end up finishing up before they did. I’m on the second book and I’m loving it so far. great book!

This book got me out of a book funk. I literally couldn’t find a book that interested me even a speck. Once I saw it was a new book by Brandon Sanderson and the cover artwork caught my eye I was all in.
I was captivated by the story and couldn’t wait to start listening to it each day. I would find and opportunity it listen to it.

What character would you cut from Hyperion?
I would really shorten the side stories of each character leading to why they were at Hyperion. It made the book drag on forever. The parts of the book actually set on Hyperion were good. But the side stories took forever. I stopped with the private investigators story.

I don't know, the playback on this book (and only this book in my library) kept skipping around and only played a few seconds of the book at a time and then would skip ahead anywhere from 1 second to 1 chapter. I was streaming the device and the download was the same.
