I loved this book, wish it was longer. I was a little confused at some of the MC’s decisions because it seemed his power set could have overcome them in a lot of other ways that were much easier. However it all worked out in the end. It also bothered me that with all of the people who ended up in the basement, no one came looking for them. The last chapter was superb and I am writing this review while starting the next book in the series.

Amazing listen!

I love this genre and this book is a great representation. The MC is developed well and is quite OP due to a chance encounter. He’s reasonably intelligent and doesn’t make a ton of blunders. If you enjoyed Primal Hunter or System Universe, then you will enjoy this book.

Great break from reality!

I love me a fast paced story with an OP MC. My only complaint is the voice used for the new party member. The characters all advance well in this book, and the side chapter while the MC learned to smith was well done. I thought he would level the new smith like the baker, maybe next book, which I already preordered.

Definitely one of my favorite series in this genre. The pace of the story was good. The narrator was awesome as always. Oh, and the new character was fantastic, hopefully there is more of him in the next book.

Great Read if you like an OP MC and good writing.

I really liked this book and am currently on book 3 of the series. If anything, I would say the writing is "polite". The sound effects by the narrator are at the same volume as the dialogue, so only serve to enhance their narration. I often listen to audio books while I go to sleep, thank you Audible for having a sleep timer, and the effects do not disturb me. Overall I was really happy to find this series and see how many books are already out. If you like a series with an overpowered main character who is moderately intelligent as well as makes good choices, get this book. I am sure you will be happy with your purchase.

I thought this was a great continuation of the story. The characters progressed well. I really liked that his past friends were still present as well as new friends added. I was also happy that the story didn’t get too broad as often happens by the third or fourth book in a series. Looking forward to the next release.

This is a great story, where is the sequel? I'm not sure why the author disappeared, but it would be nice to know when/if the next book is coming out.
