I loved every minute of this series!!! I'm completely sad that it's over!!! Each of the books was a hilarious well plotted and written masterpiece IMO!! Thank you to both the author and the narrator, Shelly Laurenston and Charlotte Kane for their exceptional work!

This is different

This had had the potential for a lot more from my perspective! While it ended up better than I thought, it took me a minute to get into it. I feel more world building was needed. This is the first book in the series and it makes some assumptions that I felt needed more explanation. I’ve read hundreds of shifter books, for some reason it’s my favorite genre, but this is my first with urban characters!! I totally loved it, but it was light on the shifter part. It needed more information about the power structure/hierarchy, more explanation about her family’s unwillingness to stay close to their animals and how it impacted her. I would like to know more about how his dad came to be a council member and what specifically is the council responsible for and what is the Motsi event/situation. Also, the narrators did well overall, but when the male attempted to speak as the female it was tragic!!! I’m looking forward to Silas’ story!!!

Loved the narrators, and the plot

I really appreciated the way Alicia was able to soften and accept Cree caring for her. I wasn’t happy that she chose her sister after Cree got shot and that he somehow was able to find her later, but dramatic license I guess!! All in all, it’s really good.

Pure unadulterated SMUT!!!! I don’t know how the FMC is still alive!!!!!! And upright!!!!! Every 5 minutes or so she was getting pummeled or spanked!!!

This one was up and down for me, then it just stayed down. I was able to get pass most of the things that were silly UNTIL Hook mismanaged the guy that shot the traitorous drug dealer by "accident." The author made it a point to say that Hook didn't believe the guy, but then wrote the story as if the guy was still one of Hook's loyal goons (when he knew someone in his circle was betraying him) and took that guy with him to save Wendy. The author went through the trouble of making Hook ruthless, but then made such a ridiculous error. Hence 3 stars from me.
