So disappointing!

Such potential, so disappointing! Bland story. No suspense, no singing, nothing thrilling. I expected so much more out of Dolly and James Patterson. I stuck it out until the end just to give them a chance but probably the worst book I've listened to in over 500 titles. Poor Dolly sounds like she is still dealing with facial paralysis, and it affects her speech. With two big country singers as narrators, it was disappointing they "spoke" the lyrics to the songs in this book!

Great listening. Makes you think. You see a life through the dogs you have in it. I have had my mother and best friend listen to it. It is worth it.
