Byron Hot Springs…never knew. Great way to share the wonderful history of the location.
Revisado: 12-23-21
The 2nd book did not disappointment. Another beautiful adventure. I never knew about the Byron Hot Springs and how world famous it was.
I love how the present day story and the historic story cross paths and get a feel of before an after. At every historic location, I end up googling and learning more about it just like the characters in the book. I look forward to the next one.
These stories hit close to home when places named or visited in the story, I recall times I have been there before or I driven past it. I have a greater appreciation for where I live and history.

Kept me locked in all the way to the end.
Revisado: 12-20-21
I enjoyed the adventure from start to finish. The dual story lines kept me locked in and wanting more. It reminded me of the movie “National Treasure” but the focus was on the SF East Bay Area history which add the connection for me. Many times I googled some the persons and locations to get additional information about the area. Hearing about Brentwood, Antioch, Martinez, and Sacramento really felt at home. Look forward to the next 2 books.
