Don’t purchase this product you have no idea how to find out which book of the Bible you are picking. Unless you do the math. Thoughtless

Not up to par with volume 1.
Revisado: 03-23-21
Many errors with excerpts being repeated. Narrator not fluid in his reading nor the greatest of speaking voices as in the first and third volume.

Big book, big story, big time narration.
Revisado: 03-20-17
Would you consider the audio edition of The Count of Monte Cristo to be better than the print version?
Yes
What did you like best about this story?
That it could be so entertaining, proverbial, filled with intrigue, love and revenge.
Which scene was your favorite?
Hard to pick but it was probably when Count meets Mercedes.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I laughed at times, I was more caught up in the clever writing of Dumas.
Any additional comments?
A must read.

A classic book with an even more classic reading.
Revisado: 12-08-16
Would you consider the audio edition of Crime and Punishment to be better than the print version?
Yes
What was one of the most memorable moments of Crime and Punishment?
The last 50 pages were intense but Anthony Heald to me is one of 3 narrators I buy without hesitation.
Have you listened to any of Anthony Heald’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I have listened to Moby Dick and he carries you through the book making it more enjoyable. The profound inflection, how he pauses and captures mood in such a realistic manner is a complete joy. It matters a lot in this book because the translation sometime add what the character should sound like after the sentence but Heald has already reflected that in the reading, just amazing.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The Epilogue
Any additional comments?
Superb reading.

Awe and exhilaration—along with heartbreak and mordant wit—abound in Lolita, which tells the story of the aging Humbert Humbert's obsession for the nymphet Dolores Haze. Lolita is also the story of a hypercivilized European colliding with the cheerful barbarism of postwar America.

Revisado: 02-01-16
If the issue of race is a concern, if you think you don't see color, if you think you harbor no racist motives, if you feel ill equipped to deal with these issues this book should go to the top of the pile. The narrator that made the book even more enjoyable. Not to be missed.
