A good Sci-fi/Noir hybrid, but not the best of Reynolds work.

The main characters were compelling with the gradual discovery of Auger's and other parties motivations. Though I wouldn't say it holds up to Revelation Space it is still a very enjoyable standalone book worth your purchase.

It's "The IT Crowd" meets "Mad Max"

This was a captivating and honestly hilarious series. Not once after the first ten minutes of episode one did the story ever drag on. It was a consistently entertaining story with great acting all around.
I just wish the story continued for more well written and acted content.

Excellent continuation of a great story

First of all you need to listen to Lost Planet Homicide to fully appreciate this story. It is still a fantastic story standing alone, but the world building and character development set up in book 1 adds a lot of context to this story. Excellent narration as always. Larry is probably one of my favorite authors I've recently discovered. Give oth these stories a shot, you won't regret it.

a sci fi classic.

If you're familiar with Heinleins other work this one shouldn't be too surprising for you. Characterization is solid even if the performance could have used more varied voices. Enjoyable throughout. There were no lulls in the story that made me want to put it on hold.

A great collection with a few low points.

Performance was fantastic and most of the stories are classics. a few of the shorts I was unfamiliar with. Only one of the works in this failed to hold my attention. A must have if you're a Heinlein fan.

I'm looking forward to listening to the rest of this franchise. there were a few spots throughout where the story kind of lagged and didn't hold my attention. But overall it was very good.
Narration was okay, nothing stand out as great or bad.
