Historia
When I left Sanctuary in a cloud of glitter, I thought I knew exactly who I was. But in the Celestial Realm, it's clear I had it wrong. And so did everyone else. According to the shiniest of all the Celestials, I'm something new and unexpected. To my surprise, I also have a family. But their warm, naked welcome won't matter, because I may have left a part of my soul back in Sanctuary, and I'm fading fast.

I wish I would have skipped this one
Revisado: 04-24-25
I debated continuing after book 2—and honestly, I wish I hadn’t. Book 3 was painfully slow and overloaded with explicit scenes. I’m no prude and enjoy a bit of spice, but this felt excessive and at the expense of plot development.
The storyline itself fell flat. We finally learn about Feather’s identity and that the mysterious birthmark wasn’t a birthmark at all—no shock there. Sanctuary is at war, Arabella wakes up, Rumple reappears and Gavriel is unsarcastically humble.
Feather’s departure causes emotional turmoil for her mates. Prescious had potential to be a standout character, but sadly, she’s barely explored.
Feather seems consumed by her own wants and desires, and I found it hard to connect with her. I ended up skipping chapters just to finish, and even the epilogue—which was long—didn’t offer the payoff I was hoping for.
Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this one. Save your credits.

Historia
I called myself Feather. But really? I was Useless. So I chose to save Sanctuary, though that meant I lost everything: my majestic sheets, my old name, my fudging body . . . and my sweet, sexy soulmate. When the super-hot and literally horny Rumple sends me back home, not everyone busts out the confetti. You'd think by sacrificing myself, I would have solved a lot of problems. But I only uncovered more, and made some powerful, glitter-hating new enemies. When Protectors start to disappear, I'm stuck wandering through Sanctuary's basement/sex dungeon to find them.

The story is long and could have been shorter
Revisado: 04-17-25
Spoiler Alert: If you haven’t read the first book, stop here!
The story kicks off with Feather floating in the abyss—an intense and mysterious beginning. Back in Sanctuary, everyone is panicking, though the wall still appears stable.
Feather eventually returns, and that’s when things truly spiral. Mikail and Gavriel head to Earth to hunt down a Glitter Monster responsible for human deaths. While they're away, chaos erupts. Some of the Guides and Protectors rebel, creating their own harsh and unjust rules. They take it upon themselves to act as judge and jury, locking many away in what were once peaceful meditation rooms. Thankfully, Feather eventually manages to free them all. Sunny, usually known for being more reserved, makes a surprising and heroic move that stands out.
As it turns out, the Glitter Monster is actually a baby—and ends up stealing a lot of hearts. But their return to Sanctuary reveals even more trouble: the wall is becoming unstable again, and something is clearly wrong with Feather.
I wasn’t sure if I wanted to read the third book. The story feels a bit stretched at times. But this book was solid enough that I decided to continue. Just a heads-up—the third book does wrap things up, but it also drags a bit.

Nameless. Forgotten. Lost on Earth for centuries with a disembodied voice as my only friend. Protecting the vulnerable without any help from above. No one to explain the rules. Nada. Zip. Zilch. So when High Angelus Gavriel finds me killing a very bad man, can he really blame me? Before I can explain, he drags me back to the place he swears is my home: Sanctuary.

Be ready to cry
Revisado: 04-09-25
This story started slow. It was hard to keep it all together. The male narrator sounded very old and the female very young, so it was hard to picture people getting together romantically.
Feather is a lost or forgotten Angel per the title. There are high Anjeli and Protectors.
The story starts when Feather "murdered' a very bad person. She is caught by a High Anjeli who takes her to Sancturary. Where the Protectors wait for their next assignment. Some come back and need to be purified to rid themselves of 'smug" from wrongs they did on their missions. Feather is covered in Smug and 'Stinks" She is shunned by everyone. Gavriel and Mikail are the High Anjeli, and they condone the bad treatment of Feather from the others. She is assigned a guide, Sunny who does not treat her poorly, but she is paid to be there with Feather so is she really her friend? Then Righteous comes in and he is an arrogant punk. But Feather sees the good in him and thinks he is hot. She calls Mikail Grumpy Bear, which is funny because he is super grumpy. He makes her use a special knife to remove her smudge and it begins to work.
Then she kisses Righteous, and it goes downhill from there.
She almost dies from trying to save another and she is marked during this to save her life. The mark leads to mating and then the wall in Sanctuary is critically in need of help.
So, what happens? They victimize Feather and bully her into making a sacrifice to save the wall.
Poor Feather has always been a victim, since her making. Sanctuary is a joke; they ostracize her when they should be doing what is good as Protectors. Gavriel is cruel. Righteous is a joke and Mikail has a secret that comes out.
This is the nutshell version of the book. The end is a cliff hanger of course, because there are two more books. We need a reason to come back.
I love Feather and I want it to end well for her and I want people to stop hurting her. (None of them deserve her.) So, I am on to the next book.

Historia
Against all odds, Kerrigan Argon passed her dragon training. She's now an official member of the Society. Everything should be well. But somehow, nothing is. Her dark prince, Fordham Ollivier, has disappeared in hopes to beak his curse. An unwanted wedding looms in her future. And the council election draws ever nearer. An election that she's been unceremoniously nominated for. If all of that wasn't enough, the Red Masks, an anti-half Fae, anti-human terrorist organization, are gaining ground. All because they have a spy inside the mountain, inside the Society itself.

Revisado: 03-11-25
Just finished book 3 and I am on to the 4th. I am impressed with this series. I love Kerrigan's strength. Her loyalty to her friends. I thought this book would help understand many things, Kerrigan's power, finding Ford, getting out of the marriage her father set up for her when she was born but nope. (Sorry, there are two more books so you should not be surprised) The cliffhanger ending was devastating. Just know that this is a great series, and I am anxious to move on.

Great story to listen to - highly recommend
Revisado: 03-04-25
I really enjoyed Book 1 in this series. Kerrigan is very strong, smart and positive. Listening to her come into herself was a joy. I love the loyal friends and mentors she has. Kerrigan is 17 in the story and I enjoy that everything she goes through in her relationships are age appropriate. Her character seems to have a very old soul, and it is sometimes hard to remember she is so young. It is very sad that she is treated like a leaser person due to her heritage. I am almost done with book two and I am excited for the next books. The narration was good as well.

Historia
Fresh off a breakup and an eviction, I started my day like any other: a book in one hand, a coffee in the other, and faking that can-do attitude inspirational memes are made of. I was ready to take on the world—and I did. Unfortunately, it was the Underworld. One freak accident later, I’m standing face to face with the sexy-as-sin and dangerously powerful Prince of the Underworld. He has a few burning questions for me—like how a mere human unlocked the door to the Underworld’s prison and released its prisoners.

I love this story!
Revisado: 02-27-25
I am going to start with the fact that I am sad it is over. It is not your normal lord of the underworld type story. Don't get me wrong I love those too, but this is a story where the heroin has no powers, and she is dumped into a world of the supernatural she had no clue about. But this gal is spicy. She has no fear! It is not a touchy-feely kind of story where everyone loves her, only her human friends have that. She earns all the respect she gets by the end. And I think the end was solid.
The narration was great as well.

Good Read
Revisado: 02-21-25
This was a surprising delight. They are all in high school so my first thought was that I would not enjoy it and that there may be inappropriate relations but there was none. Danielle is my favorite character, you will understand as you read the books. All of the Olympians play a good part and the details are fantastic. Nicole is pretty selfish even if she accuses Danielle of it. The end wrapped up nicely.
The narration was just okay. There were times when she read, there was no difference in her voice for different characters making it hard to distinguish who was who.
Overall, I would recommend this book series.

Book 2 is just as good as Book 1
Revisado: 02-11-25
I will start with saying that I really hope more books come out. Book 1 left a question of what will happen with Rose's "Daughter" in the future, but she never has the baby in this book, so we don't know if her first child is a girl. This book was definitely a twist on Snow White. The first book kind of hints at a Beauty and the Beast theme but not as prominent as this one. I love that Lilly becomes the Queen we hope she does. She is a Bad*ss in her own right. She has many around her that guard her, but she only needs to believe in herself to get herself out of situations. I listened to this book in less than 24 hours because I just could not stop. Don't skip book sequence because one book does play off the next.
As the last book the female narrator is a bit flat. There is not a lot of emotion or excitement in her tone. But it is forgivable because the story moves so fast.

Fun story, but seemed too short
Revisado: 02-10-25
I love Rose's feistiness. She does not listen to "no" and does what she pleases, and her heart is all in. Raith is a good match for her. He cares but struggles with that. There is mystery, love and a sweet story. I feel like we needed more story about them but maybe we will know things in the second book.
I gave it a 3 for performance because of the female voice. She was kind of flat.
