Historia
One of the few white kids in a rural Kentucky town, Logan Whyte always kept to his own kind out of self-preservation. He never considered himself racist, but that didn't stop him from falling in with the wrong crowd--one that celebrated hate as much as he fought it--or from ending up in prison for eight years on an armed-robbery charge.

Awesome story
Revisado: 04-07-15
Where does Incarcerated rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Without a doubt right at the top, I love the story. It did take me a while as usual to adjust to being read to, I am so used to moving at my own pace or going back and rereading as I go.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Incarcerated?
When Katie and Logan met in person, I think it was one of the best moments in the book. Love can move mountains sometimes.
What about Olivia Peppersmith’s performance did you like?
She was so enthusiastic about the reading, she showed that everything mattered with the tone of her voice. She made the characters come to life. But in the same breath I didn't care for how clipped she made her words, enunciation is very important but at times it just annoyed me.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
There are moments in this book that make you warm and fuzzy for sure. As for crying no I never went there I guess I had a lot of faith.

Always Awesome

Where does Blades of Magic: Crown Service, Book 1 rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Thus far right at the top, it was a fantastic story all the way around and I could listen to it over and over again.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Sara is my favorite character, watching her development as more than just a fighter. She is discovering herself, how to trust, making friends, on her trip to discover what really happened with her father. She is rounding out becoming the person she should be as well as the person she wants to be, I love watching a character develop.
What does Sylvia Roldn Dohi bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Oh my, I wasn't sure before I started listening but wow I loved this narrator, she brought a new level of excitement to the story with her interpretation of voices and emotions. I want to get more audio books now, a narrator can make a wonderful book even better.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
No, I like to listen a chunk at a time and think about all that happened before I move on. I think it is a did you miss something reflex, and if something isn't quite as clear as I would like it to be it's easy to go back over if I wanted to.
Any additional comments?
My admiration of Terah Edun grows in leaps and bounds, I am always left breathless waiting for the next book. Keep it up!!

Historia
Captured and tortured beyond the limits of her resolve, Persephone must find the power to stand against Zeus. But will she be strong enough? Persephone never thought of herself as dangerous, but there's a reason gods never marry for love. A being with the power to destroy all of creation shouldn't place more value in one individual than the rest of the planet. But Hades...Hades would break the world for her. To save the world and stop both Hades and Zeus, Persephone must make a difficult choice. One that may cost her everything.

Kaitlin Bevis Rocks!
Revisado: 06-01-14
Would you listen to The Iron Queen again? Why?
Yes, because to be honest with so many POV's if you don't pay strict attention you could get a little confused, but mostly because this book is awesome.
What did you like best about this story?
The way it was so complicated, things were never what they seemed and it was always surprizing.
Which character – as performed by Kaitlin Bevis – was your favorite?
Persephone, with Aphrodite a close second. She made those 2 characters so very real to me. The inflections and attitudes they both had were carried through beautifully.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Just when you thought you knew....

Love this series!
Revisado: 05-30-14
What made the experience of listening to Daughter of the Earth and Sky the most enjoyable?
It is so nice to be able to sit, listen and rest while listening to a wonderful story. It is also nice to listen while you do anything that you deem boring, makes time pass in a much more agreeable manner.
What did you like best about this story?
I love the depth of Hades and Persephone's feelings, and in this book they come to the forefront. I also love seeing Persephone deal with the issues that arise from being a Goddess.
What three words best describe Kaitlin Bevis’s performance?
Emotional, intense, rushed. To clarify slightly, I felt she rushed just a bit on this book, not enough to be unenjoyable, just faster than I liked.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
When Hades & Persephone finally say I love you to each other, my heart just overflowed.

Revisado: 05-28-14
Where does Persephone rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Since Persephone was the first audio book I have listened to since way back when I will say audio books have come very far since those days. So it will be rated first in line for now.
What did you like best about this story?
I love the enthusiasm with which Kaitlin Bevis speaks, the way her voice got excited, quiet or whatever needed to set the tone.
Have you listened to any of Kaitlin Bevis’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
This is the first for now, I am moving on to the next in the series so I will let you know.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Have you ever wondered what realizing you are a Goddess would feel like?
Any additional comments?
I would recommend having this audio book around for those times you would like to be reading but can't stop to read, such as; exercising, car trips, doctor's office. I am sure you get the point.
