Historia
Following a terrible war that buried their empires in fire, survivors fled to a new home across the terrifying sea. Drawn to the great abandoned Obsidian City ringed in strange black walls with a dark tower reaching high into the heavens, they find haven. Adrian Korien, born to this new world and to a people who distrust old nobility and gods, spends his days dreaming of adventures. While learning the family way from his father, Adrian also trains in the local guild.

I was give a free copy of this audiobook in return for my honest review of it so here it is.
This story definitely has intrigue that will have you asking questions throughout although many of the questions that I had were not answered within this story. I think that this book is a good starting point for something that could become a phenomenal story but as a book by itself, it leaves something to be desired. Overall this was a solid starting point for what looks to be a very intriguing series and will definitely leave you interested in what comes next.
