Historia
From 1915 to 1970, this exodus of almost six million people changed the face of America. Wilkerson compares this epic migration to the migrations of other peoples in history. She interviewed more than a thousand people, and gained access to new data and official records, to write this definitive and vividly dramatic account of how these American journeys unfolded, altering our cities, our country, and ourselves.

Robin Miles did a fan-tas-tic job narrating this Intriguing book. As an African immigrant, this book was enlightening. I learned about the grant migration through the lens of these protagonists. Isabel Wilkerson did a phenomenal research and presented the stories in a well thought out manner. Amazing Job.

This is the best book I have read in recent years. I absolutely was immersed as the words and characters came alive. I lived and journeyed with them. I felt their heartbeats, their pains, and their final victories. Again, best read ever in recent times. I am so glad I read it and I have and would recommend to all.
