Historia
Nick Seagrave is a disillusioned business executive who has lost loved ones to tragedy and his family to neglect. Now, at a point of great crisis, he finds himself inexplicably transported to what appears to be another world. Suddenly he's confronted with profoundly clear views of his own past and personality. And he's enabled to see, hear, taste, and smell the realities of both heaven and hell - realities that force him to face dangers and trials far greater than any he's known before.

A faith saving epic of eternal proportion
Revisado: 10-12-16
This story came to me just as I am experiencing a time of heartache and betrayal. The poignant story of the struggle of traveling the "red road" enabled me to see that; although the intensity of my fears, doubts and temptation to lose hope are very real, the battle is not unique to me, but is part of God's plan and purpose to help me recognize my need to daily experience his grace when my own resources are completely drained, to actively connect with fellow travelers and allow God's incomprehensible wisdom to create a faith that is deeper, stronger and more humbling than before. The description of heaven and the glorious fulfillment of my deepest desires gives me perspective and strength to surrender myself to God's design one day at a time. Thank you Randy for using your gift to sustain and encourage fellow "travelers:"

Historia
Mayme and Katie have become friends, which is unusual given that their friendship has spouted at the end of the Civil War and that Mayme is a former slave, while Katie is the daughter of a plantation owner. Both girls have been orphaned by the war, left alone on Katie's family plantation. The land is the one thing they still share, and they don't want to leave it. But if anyone finds out the two of them live there alone, they will be forced to move.

Great insight and depiction of the times & cultur

Wonderful perspective from various social positions. Particularly shows how different people were motivated by hatred, greed and arrogance, but other people on the same side of the issue were kind and generous and sometimes ignorant of harsh realities.
