Well acted, funny, but a scattered story

Legitimately fun to listen to, John Ryan's sense of humour was great, but the story is scattered with lots of deus ex Machina. which is fine I guess if you can just enjoy the spectacles the book lines up but I personally enjoy a more grounded story.

Funny and actually has some depth.

I do believe that this is, first & foremost, a comedy. It does really well at that, with likable characters in compromised circumstances. Good stuff all around. Beyond that, I was pleased to see some real worldbuilding in the universe the story takes place in. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a lighthearted comedy adventure.
