Historia
One of Madeline Cullen’s happiest childhood memories is of working with her Aunt Maddie in the quaint and cozy Printed Letter Bookshop. But by the time Madeline inherits the shop nearly 20 years later, family troubles and her own bitter losses have hardened Madeline’s heart toward her once-treasured aunt - and the now struggling bookshop left in her care. While Madeline intends to sell the shop as quickly as possible, the Printed Letter’s two employees have other ideas.

An Enjoyable Story
Revisado: 10-05-20
This is an enjoyable story as it is rich in characters, but not too heavy of a plot. The narration is only a bit disappointing in that there is not too much voice distinction between the characters, especially the female characters ( all the nasal tone voices are somewhat of annoying). This would make a good audio book for a road trip.

Historia
In this follow-up to Austenland, Charlotte Kinder is eager to escape the numbness she feels after her divorce. Deciding to get away, she visits the Regency-themed Pembrook Park resort in England, where talented actors set the perfect scene. But with everyone playing a role, it’s hard to distinguish reality from fantasy. So when Charlotte’s heart stirs, she wonders if she’s simply caught up in the experience - or if her ability to feel is finally returning.

Good Road Trip "Read"
Revisado: 08-08-20
My adult daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the first book, Austenland, and we're not disappointed by the sequel. The main character's internal conversations were, at times, excessive, but did not take away from the overall story. The narrator did an excellent job! Highly recommend for a long road trip.
